he whole idea started in 2002, when my daughter was engaged. When we started to plan her wedding and began checking local prices for decorators, rentals, and flowers… I was amazed at how expensive all wedding supplies can be. Then I thought, “What about all those brides who can’t afford to spend a fortune on the decorations desired to make her day the most memorable. Should they have to compromise for what’s affordable instead of having their dream wedding? NO WAY! There has to be another way.”
e decided we can make all of the decorations ourselves. We used silk flowers, as they are cheaper compared to fresh ones. Plus, they can be made in advance and stored knowing they will look as nice as the day they were created. The convenience of preparing them up to one whole year in advance was great as the closer the date came, the more we realized how many other “more important” things we had on our minds.

o, my husband, my friends, our families and I all contributed into this project and stated to work on things. That’s almost how all the decorations were made. Even the ones I was able to use for other upcoming weddings of my friends and family. Both the church and reception hall decorations are reusable.
ver the past four years, I kept adding and adding new projects and designs to “my collection”, however and whenever the idea came to mind. Everyone was so pleased with my creative ability and suggested “You should start your own business, since you are so talented and passionate about it”. Taking their advice over the following four years, in my spare time I would create more and more bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, center pieces, flower arrangements and kept promising myself… one day, I will do it. I will help all those brides who dreamed of Cinderella’s wedding, without breaking their bank accounts.
our years have passed (seems so quickly), I have taken some Flower Design courses, and here I am, ready to keep my promise.
